In this era of increasingly rapid change, the Yidan Prize is an inspiration to all of us. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is determined to thrive in this ever-changing world, just like the Yidan Prize laureates. To do so, we need to have a strong science and technology foundation and nurture scientific talent to lead the way. That is why the HKSAR Government has been making great strides in turning Hong Kong into an international hub for innovation and technology, as well as a leading postsecondary education center. We look forward to working with the BOCHK Science and Technology Scholarship Committee to continue nurturing future generations of science and technology professionals in Hong Kong.
